BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The Baker University baseball team landed three Wildcats on the 2016 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete award list, announced by the national office.

The three ‘Cats named to the prestigious list include seniors Gabe Greenbaum and Matthew Gruber, along with junior Trevor Lininger.

The trio was three of 353 baseball players from across the NAIA named to the list.

In order to be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
